Having recently moved to BKK, getting an authentic Sak Yant tattoo was on my list of things to do. First, I did a Google search on ‘authentic Sak Yant tattoos Bangkok’ and came across Bangkok Ink Tattoos. They have over 800 positive reviews (more than any other tattoo shop in Bangkok). One day, I was in the area and decided to stop by and check the place out. The staff is very friendly and they do speak English. I was looking through their book of Sak Yant tattoos and the owner, Martin popped in the shop. He is an affable, British guy and has been in the business for over 15 years. We had a wonderful chat and he gave me a bunch of tips and tricks to navigate my way around Bangkok. I felt very comfortable and at ease. No salesy bs or pressure to get a tattoo. So, I picked out a couple of tattoos and set an appointment for the following week. The Sak Yant Masters or Ajarns do not live in BKK so you need to set an appointment. I arrived for my appointment and was taken upstairs where they do Sak Yant tattoos. They do machine tattoos and piercings on the first floor. The tattoo shop is immaculately clean. Not joking, probably the cleanest business I’ve been to in BKK. They clearly take pride in their business and the ascetics show. It is a really cool place to check out even if you don’t want a tattoo. I met the Ajarn and ended up getting 3 Sak Yant tattoos. I am 100% satisfied with the work they did. They have air con and will turn it up on down at your request. They provide water and make you very comfortable. They go at your pace and check to see if you are okay. I was pleasantly surprised that it really didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. I spent 2.5 hours getting the tattoos. They wrap them in a protective layer and provide after care instructions. How much did I enjoy my experience? Well, I went back 2 days later and got 3 more Sak Yant tattoos for a total of 6. Same experience as before. All went exceptionally well and the blessing ceremony was amazing!!! If you are thinking of getting a Sak Yant or a tattoo I would strongly recommend Bangkok Ink Tattoo!
Finally got my first ever tattoo at this amazing place. Was recommend by someone who went to get hers done a couple of months ago, I got in touch with the admin person, K. Preary, who is also the piercing person. I had shared the design I wanted and asked about the price and how big it should be. The feedback was great and even got suggestion on what color I should do for the birds. Went in a few days ago and the whole experience was awesome, great place, clean, wonderful service and the tattoo artist was very gentle and did a great job. I highly recommend the place to all. This was an amazing experience. My husband and I worked with the wonderful receptionist to book out appointments for traditional Sak Yant tattoos with an Ajarn. She was so patient and kind. She was great as a translator and encouraged us a lot. She also took wonderful photos! The Ajarn was wonderfully talented and so kind. I highly recommend this shop and experience for a clean, safe way to get traditional tattoos and blessings.
I had a friend recommend this place to me in Bangkok, so I decided to check it out. Super friendly staff! Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable, they answered all of my questions easily and let me try multiple stencils on my body beforehand. I didn’t feel pressured into getting something I didn’t want. These guys make you feel very comfortable. Good vibes all around. The shop is also super clean, very big, and I got in the next day with Master Au. My tattoo is amazing (and I’m covered from heat to toe– so I’m very picky!) AND I LOVE IT. I would definitely tell anybody to come and spend all of your money on tattoos here.
Amazing experience at Bangkok ink. The staff were professional, friendly and took their time. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Appointments would be recommended but we called and booked early in the morning and were seen later in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo in Bangkok.
Amazing quality and customer service. Aot did an amazing job on my tattoo and preary and Alex explained everything to me before getting it. I could not have asked for a better experience and will be leaving bangkok with an awesome new tattoo. High quality of hygiene and expertise at this tattoo place. Highly reccomend it!

Had an amazing experience here at Bangkok Ink Tattoo Studio. They were very accommodating and got me right in. Also, they have a real Ajarn to do Bamboo poke style tattoos. Many places will fake you. This is not one of those places. Will come back every time I come to Thailand.o.
First time in Thailand and hubby had to get a tattoo. So glad we found this place. Staff were lovely and the art work is fantastic. Would highly recommend ❤
An absolutely surreal and amazing experience with Bangkok Ink Tattoo. My husband and I had two Sak Yant tattoos bamboo handpoked and absolutely love it. I’d recommend this tattoo studio to absolutely everyone. Friendly, professional, perfect!
Great experience here! Got my septum pierced today and I’m so happy with it! Very clean shop, she took the time to make sure the placement was good and I was happy with it. Going back tomorrow for a tattoo. 😁

Excellent and professional service! Goody and his team were very welcoming! My husband and I got bamboo tattoos and extremely happy with them! So much that I decided to get another small machine tattoo while we were there! The studio is very clean with individual tattoo rooms with clear glass walls making the experience that much better! Highly recommend. If you’re in Bangkok, this is the place to go!
Before I knew it, the artist said he was finished. They took a picture of my back so I could see how it turned out (fantastic), cleaned me up, bandaged me and sent me on my way with instructions on how to care for the tattoo.
I would recommend Bangkok ink to anyone interested in getting either a machine or bamboo Tattoo. Mine was bamboo.

Best place to get a traditional Thai tattoo. They walk you through the process in an excellent English. I came in without an appointment and was treated as a regular client. Is my first tattoo and I totally love it.

Goody, and the rest of the team were fantastic! The team helped us feel right at home and very comfortable. The studio is very clean and hygienic with the tattoo rooms quiet and private. Air conditioned and very attentive to our needs. My wife and I both got bamboo tattoos, hand-poked and were very impressed with how clear and beautiful they came out. 5 stars, the only tattoo stop to go to in Bangkok!
I went on vacation on Thailand with my family and friends, it’s our second to last day in Bangkok and we spontaneously decided to get tattoos. We did some research, found this place and got incredibly lucky that they were able to do the traditional bamboo due to a last minute cancellation. I chose mechanical, this was my first tattoo and it definitely won’t be my last, especially after finding this gem! The staff here are incredibly friendly, patient and willing to make sure we enjoy our experience. I appreciated that my artist asked me for feedback after he finished up and if there were any areas I wanted to add more too. It was a quick process and the end result was amazing, we even bought some of their shirts and plan to come back next year or so! I love how it came out and I’m glad I waited so long because I would’ve never found this place!
Top notch tattoo parlor. I was hot, so they brought me a fan. My phone was dying, so they brought me a charger.

Firstly the attention was really nice and helpful.. I just got 3 tattoos and was amazing results. IF you ask them any queries they will give you suggestions and don’t push you to select your tattoo. Also they have a lot of range of selections which is good if you are not sure. I will recommend the place 100%. Place is clean and you can feel safe. THANKS YOU guys I am very happy with tattoos
Truly an amazing experience: to break it down I always look for cleanliness, overall experience, and craftsmanship when going to get a tattoo. First of all, very clean shop that uses clean equipment, clean needles, and continuously cleans equipment (I witnessed this). Secondly, the experience was enlightening as I did the bamboo and got it done by a master making it almost spiritual. Thirdly, the craftsmanship was beautiful and I love my piece that I got that I will proudly show off.
I would recommend everyone to consider visiting here as a new experience in Thailand.
